About Me (and the PMC)
What's new?
  I've been riding the PMC since 1991, with the exception of 1998 when an injury kept me off the bike for 9 months (see the Story Time tab). That year, I volunteered, and still raised money. Well, and then there was 2018 when I rode on a stationary bike due to another injury... To date, I've raised over $350K for the PMC.

Since 2005 (with one exception), I've ridden a remote PMC, all in California, with one bonus ride in France in 2006.

By profession, I'm a retired software engineer. As well, I've been a volunteer firefighter since 2000, running all sorts of incidents from EMS to vehicle accidents to fires.

        12/11/25, Beth crossed the goal line, completing her radiation treatment! A bell-ringing ceremony with a certificate made it official
