The chimney chase is finished with Vaproshield, and includes the access panel for cleaning the flue. This will be covered with Swisspearl, someday... As well you can barely see it but there is a small wall about a foot deep next to the chimney. This houses the down-drain for the gutter (the pipe you see is temporary).
