This bit of plumbing kookiness was partly our idea, partly our foreman. We needed to get water into the deck surface drains above the garage for irrigation for plants. For ease of access and least amount of liability for future leaks, we had the plumber run the supply through the drain! There are four of these, one for each gutter.
