Welcome What's new?
Welcome to Andy's Pan Mass Challenge page! The actual PMC is a two day, 192 mile bicycling fundraising event, extending from the middle of the state to the tip of Cape Cod (amongst other routes). The PMC benefits the Jimmy Fund of Boston's Dana Farber Cancer Institute - one of the best cancer research and treatment centers in the world. DFCI has excelled in treating children's cancer. The Jimmy Fund was established in 1948. Since 1980, the PMC has raised $972 million for cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber. I have been riding the PMC since 1991. Nowadays, I do a remote PMC, somewhere in California. For stories, facts and figures, be sure to check out the FAQ and Story Time tabs.

2021 was a hard year, riding in memory of my mom who lost her battle with lung cancer in December, 2020. With the help of my awesome sponsors, I was able to raise nearly $23,000, a new personal record. The PMC raised $64 Million that year! My 2021 ride story, Miles For Mom, can by found by following that link.

For 2022, we rode on 8/25 and the story, Roller Coaster, can by found by following that link. I raised a bit over $15000 and the PMC raised a record $69 million! Thanks to all of my awesome sponsors. Once again, 100% of every dollar raised passed through to the Jimmy Fund. I'm closing in on $300K raised since 1991. Maybe 2023?
9/7 - We did it! The ride story, entitled 33 1/3, can by found by following that link.

11/12 - The PMC announced another record gift to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute: $72 Million! Since 1980, the PMC has contributed $972 Million. We're in a position to cross the cumulative $1 billion mark next year. With your help, we raised $16549 this year. A big THANKS to all of my sponsors.
