March 21:  Southern Scenic Route

Leaving Fiordland, we drove south to the coast and then west towards Invercargill and Bluff, where we would be catching the ferry to Stewart Island.  Along the way, we passed many lovely scenic sights, which will go unrecorded here.  However we thought we ought to include some of the more typical New Zealand sights, which we saw everywhere.


Herds of cattle...


Flocks of sheep...


Captive plastic cylinders???  (Hay bales, actually)


Surely you did not think you were going to see this many photos of New Zealand without seeing plenty of sheep, did you?
